I know that we sometimes all have the “no new friends” mentality.
But what if I told you, that some of your BEST friends / BOSS friends will be NEW friends! As growing women, it is imperative that we get in the habit of making meaningful and beneficial connections. Connections that will help you excel in your personal, social and business life. Having great people around and in your circle will open doors for you that will blow your mind! In life, we have to have our “village” the people around us, that supports us 100%. Whether the support is emotional, financial, or physical we all need a great support system. Previously said, it is imperative that we learn how to build bonds with people and also show up in the same capacity that they show up for us!
Support can never be one sided.
So as I say build meaningful relationships, also build yourself in ways, that you can also be a giver of a meaningful relationship. I’m sure you all have heard the saying “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know”. Connection can get you into doors that will change your life drastically. Along the same lines, it’s important that as women we celebrate one another! And acknowledge our wins! Let your boss friend know that you see her hard work and dedication. Let her know that you got her back and live up to that. Celebrate business accomplishments, business birthdays, business boss ups! Celebrate it all and show that you are invested in what your boss friend has going on.
The goal for “Girl Gang Indy” itself, is to bring women together to support, uplift and motivate one another.
